Lockshop Wigs: Cascade Review!

♡ Hello lovelies! ♡
Today I have a super exciting review for you!

This is not a sponsored review, as I am not working with Lockshop Wigs; however, I do want to make it clear that I did receive this product for free due to a lucky draw competition.

Let me explain:
Back in the end of March/April, I was lucky enough to win a competition that Lockshop Wigs was hosting on twitter! I feel so happy and blessed that I was able to have this opportunity because I have been an admirer of their wigs for quite some time!

I was contacted by a lovely lady called Bree who asked me for my email. Bree was an absolute joy to talk to; she answered a quick question I had regarding shipping (I wasn't sure where I was going to be when the parcel would arrive - home or university town), and was very polite all the way through.

The shipping did take a little while longer than usual because somebody was on holiday and therefore my wig couldn't be sent out. I was very happy and surprised however, as when the package finally got to my home, it had a priority sticker on it. I'm not sure if that's just due to my situation or not, but I still wanted to mention it because it shows how much they care about their customer service!

And now, to show the wig!
Dadum~ This is what the package looked like when I opened the envelope. I chose Cascade in Vanille, because ever since I was little, I wanted wavy fluffy blonde hair like clouds! I really liked the cute pink tissue with a sweet little sticker ^#^ I was also given three business cards, I will definitely be keeping one as I love to keep hold of cute things like this for my inspiration box/wall etc.

The wig was kept in form very well.

Here is what it looked like on me right out of the packaging.
This is without styling the wig.
I did brighten this image as I took it under unnatural lighting and you couldn't see it very well. Aside from that, I only softened my face because I wasn't wearing makeup ^#^"

As you can see, it looks very curly but unnaturally so. I was not a fan of the fringe at all, just because that style does not suit me. That night, I cut the fringe and brushed the whole wig out, and I was super happy with the result!
Look at that texture, it looks a lot more natural! I have always been scared of styling my wigs (besides the fringe) but I think now I have more confidence!

I took some more pictures in natural lighting the next day.
So pretty! Here are a couple more images for you~
Overall, I am extremely happy with Lockshop Wigs' service and product!
Although the prices of their wigs being a little expensive for a student like me, I will say that now that I have tried this one, I will definitely be purchasing some in the future!

Thank you so much to Lockshop Wigs for providing your fans with competitions like this! And thank you guys for reading! ♡ ♡ ♡

Have a lovely day/evening!

Kawaii Surprises Review!

Hi everyone!
Hope that you're doing well as always!

Today I have a review for Kawaii Surprises Japan!
My boyfriend and I celebrate every 'half' anniversary, so I bought him the Apple Surprise Goodie Bag and the Strawberry Surprise Goodie Bag as presents!

It was a super cute size! In the strawberry side there was about 8 sweets (or candies) and in the apple side there was roughly 10ish (from what I remember). The difference in amount was probably because the strawberry side contained larger sweets such as a Hello Kitty pocky-like item and the apple had lots of little sweets like tictacs!
When I opened the package there was this cute bag inside! I love cute things like this because I like to keep them for inspiration and to make me happy ^#^
And here is what was inside the bag!
I was able to receive a free gift by entering a code which was at the bottom of the website!

Here is what the free gift looked like!
Super adorable! This item tasted to me like chocolate over a cracker; which sounds a little bit strange, but was actually really yummy!

A picture of the treat~ NOW FOR THE MAIN EVENT!
Here is a closeup of the sweeties! I miss them ; u ;
My boyfriend was kind enough to share some things with me, and I must say, they were delicious! I think I prefer Japanese candy to British now ^#^"

My favourite on the strawberry side was the oreo branded sweet; it was like a crushed oreo with strawberries inside; which reminded me of a tart I made which was similar :3 My boyfriend liked the hard boiled type strawberry sweets which are pretty explanatory. On the apple side, I liked the gummy candies, whereas my boyfriend preferred a wide apple-lace type product :3

Thank you for your time! Have a lovely day!~ x

P.S. I'm super glad that I am practicing Japanese! My boyfriend picked out this cute Pikachu sweet and commented on how it felt like chocolate but when he opened it a little, he thought the texture was strange.
I inspected the side to see チューインガム or chu-ingamu...
CHEWING GUM! hahaha I was so glad that he let me read it or he probably would have swallowed it x'D
